I Wonder...

Let's backtrack a bit, to Christmas Day. This whole month of December, I've been wondering about the 12 days of Christmas. I mean, you always here the song playing, but do you ever really think about what it means? So I looked up which dates are the twelve days of Christmas, and they're from Christmas Day (the 25th), to "The Epiphany" (January 5th). I was so intrigued, and now I'm wondering why we don't celebrate all 12 days??? And why school doesn't let us off for the 5th of January, too? :) But that's too much to hope for, anyway...

Anyway, it's the 6th day of Christmas today, so don't you early-packers dare go taking the tree down yet! We've 6 more days of Christmas yet to come! So I guess that means that I should not only wish you a Happy New Year, but a Merry Christmas, too! 
HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE! Hope 2012 brings much friendlier of 'omens' than the Mayans foretold.
